Leah Remini
Leah Remini's most well-known role is Carrie Heffernan in CBS' comedy show "The King of Queens." From 2016 through the year 2019, Leah Remini hosted and produced the Emmy-winning show on A&E "Leah Remini - Scientology and the Aftermath." Remini has appeared on a myriad of television shows and films which include "Kevin Can Wait," "Saved by the Bell,"" as well as "Old School.. "Leah Remini" was born Leah Marie Remini on June 15th of 1970, at Brooklyn, New York. Vicki Remini was her mom and George Remini, her father owned an asbestos-removal company. Nicole was her sister. Also, she grew up with the half sisters Shannon, Elizabeth and Christine. Stephanie died from cancer in 2013.Remini was educated Catholic, but her mother was members of the Church of Scientology when Leah was 9 and soon became a member of the church. Vicki, Leah, and Nicole moved from Clearwater, Florida, to live in the Scientology compound, then relocated into Los Angeles when Leah was 13. Remini left school at 14 to focus on acting.Leah also co-hosted "The Talk" between 2010 and 2011. She also participated on "Dancing with the Stars" 2013 and came with a fifth-place finish.
